Broke to Woke details the emergence of the mobile phone and the birth of social media and how it has shaped Ireland. From Bebo to TikTok, Gaybo’s Late Late Show to ‘Tommy’, a group of talented actors examine the big issues in this laugh a minute take on today.

The evolution of dating is examined from the dance hall to Coppers to online apps. Is it easier to find someone? We explore, you decide as a unique love story plays out through time.

Housing, and how we debate behind a screen is highlighted with true to life stories reflecting society. The show is sprinkled with catchy rap/spoken word throughout and simply asks; are we better off today?

No Filters recently won Virgin TV /Screen Ireland’s Sharp Shorts with ‘One More’ available soon on the Virgin Media Player. They’ve previously enjoyed sell out runs at Edinburgh Fringe with Coppers Uncovered.
