Artist: Illustrators Ireland

“Matters of the Heart” is an overview of recent work from members of Illustrators Ireland.

Matters of the Heart is an exciting exhibition of the current bloom of creative image makers.

From traditional media to digital imagery, this show is sure to get the pulse going with a wide array of work.
Illustrators Ireland is a community of professional illustrators working together to actively promote the craft- the art form- that is Illustration. They have been providing top drawer illustration for 15 years now. Members aren’t just illustrators either – they include Offset speakers, lecturers, historians, community project leaders, Kate Greenaway Medalists, workshop facilitators, and are all Illustration enthusiasts looking to spread the love of illustration.

Members specialize in every aspect of the discipline, from Korean Children’s books, to editorials for French newspapers, to American magazine covers. Their continued success is down to the fact that each member is invited (and expected) to get involved on an equal basis, to roll up their sleeves, make the best work they possibly can and support their peers, both in stimulating creativity through group projects, social events, and working together towards best business practice.

“Illustration is the most universal Visual Communication. We pride ourselves on having original personal styles of illustration, running the full gamut of media from the experimental to the traditional to the cutting edge. Whether it is illustrating a poster or a postage stamp, a title page or a textile, we have the right professional for those needs.” – Illustrators Ireland
