A flat in dreamy Bettystown. He awaits her return. Amidst childhood falsehoods and fragmented memories, he struggles to find the words for this very important day.

THE WORDS ARE THERE is a compelling and timely new piece of innovative physical theatre that delves into a lesser learned side of domestic abuse. This is a topical and relevant piece of theatre that tells a timeless story from perhaps a different perspective, particularly at a time when gender equality is at the tip of the nation’s tongue.
