RATHFARNHAM THEATRE GROUP PRESENT

Neil Simon’s Tony nominated play gives us three stories in one, all linked by Suite 719, Plaza Hotel, New York City. Plaza Suite opened in 1968 with Director, Mike Nichols, who won a Tony Award for his directing.

Act 1 Visitor from Mamaroneck. Sam and Karen are celebrating their 20 ‘something’ wedding anniversary and have picked the hotel where they spent their honeymoon. But can her romantic plans proceed with her business preoccupied husband….

Act 2 Visitor from Hollywood. Jesse and Muriel were old flames who meet up again after many years… can the flame be rekindled or will Muriel’s guilt overcome her passion….

Act 3 Visitor from Forest Hills. Mimsey and Borden are having their wedding in the Plaza Hotel… but things are not going according to plan. Cold feet, concerned parents, unaware guests, a locked bathroom make for a tension filled Suite 719.

‘Plaza Suite’ is Funny and Insightful, a Must-See – http://irishfilmcritic.com/theatre-review-plaza-suite-funny-insightful-must-see/

……the directors yield humbly to Simon’s acerbic and absurd vision of the world, and this makes for a fantastically enjoyable night at the theatre – https://www.irishtimes.com/culture/plaza-suite-1.603277
