Stagemad Theatre Company presents

Foxy Divil

by Brian Quinn

Following a hugely successful national tour in 2016,including a Dublin premiere during the theatre festival. Stagemad bring their critically acclaimed play to the Mill Theatre for one night only.

Frankie, a homeless man, recounts the stories of his street life.

Starting from what led him to take to the streets, we discover the tales and encounter the phantoms and angels of his waking days. He travels along the edge of sanity held together by the cocktail of gallows humour, and the strange bed-fellows and the scourge of alcohol. This is not a fight or a battle, it is an acceptance of the destination arrived at and the coping mechanisms that kick in.

Ireland is in the center of a homeless crisis.  There are 7,000 people homeless in Ireland 2017 of which 2,000 are children.’Foxy Divil’ offers a funny, thought provoking insight into an ordinary man’s life on the streets of our country.

Be sure to book early for Foxy Divil which is getting rave reviews nationwide…
