ELDER – Call out for participants
If you are aged 65+ you are invited to take part in this innovative new project by Andrea Scott – please come along on Tuesday 10th September at 2.30pm to find out more / sign up!
A project aimed at over 65’s to come together and reflect their personal generational history; echoing the voices of their elders. You will research key moments in your grandparents lives and consider what moment you would like to create as a piece of theatre!
This project will allow participants to create a unique experience, inhabiting the characters of their own grandparents.
The structure of the project will be:
- researching grandparents
- devising scenes with expert facilitation of Andrea Scott theatremaker / director
- writing with the guidance of a professional playwright
- scenes will be performed as a work in progress at dlr Mill Theatre studio.
The schedule will be as follows: 10 weeks
Sept 10th, 17th, 24th, October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, November 5th, 12th
2.30pm – 4.15pm in dlr Mill Theatre
PERFORMANCE: November 12th @ 8pm
