Enchanting Escapes – Illustrations by Olwyn Whelan

Opening on Saturday December 1st, 5pm – 6.30pm

Exhibition runs until 20th January 2019
Gallery open Monday – Saturday 11am-5pm and late during evening shows.

A collection of illustrations of fairytales, myths and legends from
Ireland and around the world from book illustrator Olwyn Whelan.
Publishers she has worked with include Barefoot Books, Pavillion
books, Frances Lincoln, Quarto Publishing group, Harper Collins,
Kingfisher books, Brimax publishing USA and Cricket magazine USA.
She was shortlisted twice for the prestigious CBI award. She has had
her work exhibited and sold in Europe and the USA. Olwyn works
mainly in pen and ink and watercolour with touches of gold leaf.
