Public Art Project – All Welcome -Wednesday 7th March at 2pm

You are invited to take part in an exciting creative project for people aged 65+!

Create your own original piece of theatre from idea to script to staging facilitated by theatre maker Andrea Scott and dlr Mill Theatre.

This project does not require any drama or theatre experience. Everyone will work to their own ability and pace. If you are interested in the creation or writing process but do not want to perform that’s ok! The group will form it’s own structure.

With professional facilitation this project is led and created entirely by YOU!

– Build a strong group through gentle, fun and creative games.

– Brainstorm ideas and themes that interest you.

– Collaboratively write a script

– Stage and design your piece.

A great opportunity to work in the environs of dlr Mill Theatre, gain confidence in creative expression and enjoy a relaxed creative environment. Tea and coffee will be provided. Sessions will take place weekly on Wednesday afternoons 2pm – 4pm. The process will evolve over several months. By the end you will have a fully formed piece of theatre to present.
